Pentire | Hull

Pentire is an indie band that makes pop songs for the post-jangle generation through the smiles and sweat of the mosh pit. This Herefordshire four-piece tells cheap lager-soaked stories of student life, a small-town upbringing, and the innocence of youth.
Brought up on a diet of The Killers, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics, frontman and principal songwriter Jack formed a band with his best mate Owen in the sleepy town of Ross-on-Wye. The two friends met drummer Jake and bass player Jacob whilst at university, which cemented the four-piece that is now selling out venues across the UK.
With support from BBC Radio 1, Pentire completed a landmark sold-out UK tour in early 2024, including a full house for their hometown show at the infamous 'Thekla'.
